12th of May, AIDOT (CEO Jae-hoon Jeong) announced that Cerviray AI’s license from Uzbekistan’s MOH (Ministry of Health) was registered on 27th of April.
This licensing and registration was made at the request of the Uzbekistan National Cancer Center (Republican specialized Scientific and practical Medical Center of Oncology and
Radiology). AIDOT recently signed a supply contract with GSG Group in Uzbekistan.
With this contract, the construction of a camera and server system for examination using Amazon Web Services (AWS) was completed, and 6,600 pilot tests are currently being
conducted using this system. Once the test is completed and commercialization begins, the cervical cancer screening service will be expanded to all regions of Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan mainly used human papillomavirus (HPV) testing for cervical cancer screening. However, Uzbek authorities had difficulty expanding the scale of HPV testing due to cost issues, such as testing facilities for collected samples and training of experts. Cerviray AI has quickly emerged as an alternative to existing tests as it can perform examinations
anywhere in an environment where the Internet is available.
On 12th of April, AIDOT held the Global Web-seminar of Cerviray at the request of the National Cancer Center of Uzbekistan.
This seminar introduced the journal 'Role of Artificial Intelligence Interpretation of Colposcopic Images in Cervical Cancer Screening', which states that artificial intelligence increases the accuracy of cervical cancer screening. Lectures were given on the correct use of Cerviray AI and how artificial intelligence is used for cervical cancer screening.
“Through this seminar, we showed local medical staff in Uzbekistan that cervical cancer screening using artificial intelligence can be a new alternative to supplement or replace
existing screening methods,” said Chan Hur, deputy head of AIDOT Global Sales and Marketing Team. Through the seminar, we are trying to provide a wide range of cervical cancer
screening services to women in Uzbekistan.”
