AIDOT (CEO Jae-hoon Jeong) has launched a machine learning-based cervical cancer artificial intelligence (AI) solution called 'Cerviray'.

Cervical cancer screening is mainly performed through cells. Cerviray is an AI software-based cervical primary reading aid diagnosis system. Cerviray AI provides a service that 

primarily determines the condition by enlarging the cervix. Compared to reading by a medical staff alone, the reading time is faster and the accuracy is higher for using Cerviray. 

Currently, its reading accuracy reaches 93%.

Cerviray products were commercialized this year. It won first place at the '2022 Northeast Asia Innovation Forum and Project IR Roadshow' held in China last October. Also, it was highly praised for being in line with China's government policies related to women's health, and for presenting a new method instead of the existing cervical cancer pre-diagnosis method, which was mainly based on cytology.

AIDOT entered China by creating a joint venture company. Currently, it is conducting business for 11,000 women's hospitals in China and has signed contracts with many hospitals.

After being selected as one of the SW High Growth Club 200, AIDOT achieved 100% of its sales and employment targets this year.

AIDOT recorded sales of about 1 billion won this year and hired 4 new employees. In addition, domestic and international certification was carried out, as well as active marketing 

activities along with product commercialization. In the second half of this year, exports and cooperation are being discussed with about 40 companies in 16 countries, including not 

only China, but also Vietnam and Indonesia. Currently, AIDOT is continuously developing AI for carotid ultrasound, AI for predicting rupture of cerebral aneurysm, and real-time 

endoscopy AI in addition to AI cervical cancer screening.

The new year is expected to be a year of full-fledged expansion of the business, and it is expected to secure more than KRW 3 billion in sales in the first half alone. Also, in the new 

year, AIDOT plans to expand the organization and reorganize the system by recruiting excellent talent in the field of AI development and global export and strengthen the global marketing department to focus on exports.

An official from AIDOT said, “Despite the COVID-19 situation, we actively participated in online exhibitions such as GMES, BioHealth Worldwide, and Russia Open Innovation, focusing on promoting our products. In the new year, we will contribute to raising the national status by distributing excellent AI medical SW to the world.”
