On 31st of August, AIDOT (CEO Jae-hoon Jeong), an artificial intelligence-based medical ICT company announced that it had completed the establishment of ‘Shenzhen Baozhibo

zhihui Medical Technology Co., Ltd.’ in Shenzhen, China.

AIDOT will expand its service throughout China by establishing a system through stable server support of Snet System, along with the full-fledged export of Cerviray AI, an artificial

intelligence cervical cancer screening system, to the Chinese market.

This Shenzhen regional joint venture was established through a joint investment with AIDOT's existing Chinese partner, Shenzhen Zhongbai University Co., Ltd. The project was put on hold in the wake of the US-China trade war in 2018.

In 2018, AIDOT formed a strong relationship with local partners while carrying out business in China as the company of the Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center, and continues to communicate with the Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center's steady support. It is evaluated that the establishment of this joint venture was able to succeed because it

maintained such a strong relationship.

The joint venture was established with active physical and financial support from the Shenzhen local government. The Shenzhen government provided some funding for the office and business.

According to AIDOT, Cerivray AI is the first case in which a Korean artificial intelligence medical solution enters the Chinese market in earnest to eradicate cervical cancer in local

women amid the interest of the Chinese provincial government. AIDOT believes that this export will serve as a bridgehead for the export of its personalized stroke solution (artificial

intelligence carotid ultrasound and genome combination service).

Currently, AIDOT has completed manuals and training to prepare for entering China with Genius, a Swedish company that is the exclusive partner of Colposcope. In addition, to provide stable artificial intelligence telemedicine service throughout China, Snet's Chinese subsidiary invested in the Beijing Ahn server system and completed system construction and

testing with local development personnel.

AIDOT explained that they signed an industry advisory contract through the Korea University Industry-University Cooperation Foundation, led by Professor Song Jae-yoon of the

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Korea University Anam Hospital, and Korean medical staff will provide remote advisory services to the global market. Therefore the skills of

leading Korean medical staff were given a chance to show their true value in the Chinese market first.

AIDOT has completed GMP screening in Korea to re-enter the country based on these successful cases of overseas expansion, and is signing contracts with domestic market partners one after another with the goal of KFDA approval in early 2021.

Jaehoon Jeong, CEO of AIDOT said, “The realization of the Chinese business has been somewhat delayed due to various domestic investment environments, but fortunately, it has

been completed successfully, and it will be possible to make quick decisions by securing stable management rights, so we will be able to proceed with successful global expansion in the future.”

He also added “In Europe, clinical trials are already underway with Genius partners in Sweden and Norway. Also, a review of introduction at the EU level is expected soon, and the

intention to introduce it in the Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets has been conveyed, so negotiations on the current conditions are being finalized.”

CEO Jae-hoon Jeong said, “The value of a startup is not determined by how much investment it receives. The key is how much you can prove with sales in the global market." In

addition, he pointed out some views that focus only on whether it is possible to recover the investment after listing on the technology special case and added, “AIDOT will maximize exports with the only artificial intelligence image reading solution in Korea and show how sales jump by quantum.”
