Cerviray AI, a screening solution for cervical cancer developed by AIDOT, has been well received in China.
AIDOT, an AI medical ICT company, announced that on 15th of October, it won first place at the 2020 Northeast Asia Innovation Forum and Project IR Roadshow.
The event, co-hosted by Korea's Incheon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation and China's Dalian City Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, was held on the same day as part of the "2020 National Entrepreneurship Festival Entrepreneurship and Innovation Activity Week" with Chinese Premier Keqiang Li as a speaker.
Among the six Korean companies and two Chinese companies that made it to the final round, Korea's AIDOT's cervical cancer artificial intelligence screening solution, 'Cerviray AI',
won the first place.
AIDOT ‘Cerviray AI’ complies with China’s government policy related to women’s health called as ‘Women’s Development Force’. Cerviray AI was highly evaluated that it could be
applied to the Chinese cervical cancer diagnosis market in a very efficient and groundbreaking way along with the current cervical cancer pre-diagnosis method, which is mainly
based on cytology.
The Chinese judges evaluated, “For these AI technologies, high-quality data reflecting the opinions of doctors is very important, and the data of AIDOT already reflects the opinions of
leading Korean doctors, so the value is very high.” In addition, they expressed their hope that the solution through the joint research between Korea and China will be a successful case of Korea-China joint venture that can be of great help in preventing cervical cancer in Chinese women.
AIDOT CEO Jae-hoon Jeong said, “With this first place award, it was objectively proven that AIDOT’s technology and business model accurately hit the Chinese market, and it has
become clear that the AI medical ICT model has global competitiveness when it is differentiated with a competitive business model and AI technology that matches it, apart from its
own algorithm.”
AIDOT is currently in the process of commercialization in Shenzhen and Beijing, and plans to attract investment in earnest with the first prize at this event.
