On 17th of November, AIDOT received the Korea Technology Finance Corporation Chairman's Award at the 1st Smart Korea Forum held at The Plaza Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The award was handed over to AIDOT by Yoon-mo Jeong, chairman of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation.
At this forum hosted by Aju News Corporation, People's Daily, and the Hong Kong Public Newspaper, AIDOT received high praise for its development of a cervical cancer remote
diagnosis system using artificial intelligence (AI) technology and a carotid artery ultrasound solution for cerebral hemorrhage.
AIDOT succeeded in developing and commercializing the world's first cervical cancer remote diagnosis AI system. Through joint research with professors from the Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and Korea University Anam Hospital, a self-developed algorithm that reflects the know-how of a doctor
specializing in reading is applied.
The accuracy of AI screening shows 93% of sensitivity and 89% of specificity based on the test report of TTA, an accredited certification body. It has already secured higher accuracy
than the existing cervical cytology.
AIDOT's cervical cancer remote diagnosis AI system was exported to China for about $120,000 in July this year. In the Vietnamese market, they completed a contract to jointly
advance into the Vietnamese market worth 1.7 million dollars a year. Also, it is in the process of entering the European and North American markets, as well as Indonesia, Russia,
Bangladesh, Laos, Kenya and Paraguay.
AIDOT is also working hard to create jobs. In 2020, 7 new employees were hired, bringing the total number of employees to 16, a 60% increase in employment compared to 10 in January this year.
AIDOT CEO Jae-hoon Jeong said, "We are planning to aggressively recruit more than 20 people next year according to the growth and expansion of our overseas business."
