On 27th of November, AI-based medical company AIDOT (CEO Jae-hoon Jeong, formal Buzzpole) announced that it has agreed with the Chinese subsidiary of SNET System to carry
out a joint project for China-wide Gynocular-Cerviray, an artificial intelligence cervical cancer screening remote reading system.
The Chinese subsidiary of Snet System was established in December 2012 and provides total IT solutions based on network products in China. The corporation, which has continued
to grow every year, plans to enter the local market in earnest based on online sales of workplace facilities, environmental facilities solutions, and medical ICT solutions to maximize
sales based on business diversification.
Therefore, this contract signing and ordering ceremony is the result of business collaboration optimized after going through various trials and errors for AIDOT to enter China, and it
can be evaluated as the only achievement in Korea where Korea's AI medical ICT technology actually advances into the overseas market. In particular, Sweden's GYNIUS, which signed a contract with AIDOT exclusively for cervical cancer cameras (Colposcope) last month, also announced that it would spare no technical support for the commercialization of Snet
System's Chinese subsidiary in China.
AIDOT CEO Jae-hoon Jeong said, "Through this contract with the Chinese subsidiary of Snet System, Gynocular-Cerviray is being distributed to hospitals such as women's hospitals and obstetrics and gynecology in China in earnest is not just a solution supply, but a commission sales of examination profits according to the examination are guaranteed through
platform commercialization. In other words, it is time for a win-win business to begin through practical entry into China with Korea University's Industrial Cooperation Group
along with Jae-yoon Song, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Korea University Anam Hospital, which has been striving for joint research."
Then, CEO Jeong added, "As the largest business reference in China's cervical cancer screening market, aggressive joint pioneering of the Southeast Asian market is also being
discussed in depth with the Chinese subsidiary of SNET System, through quick steps, we will provide an opportunity for Korea's advanced artificial intelligence technology to be
recognized overseas. Although Korea's artificial intelligence technology is said to be lagging behind advanced countries, if it is supported by the excellent technology of
Korean medical staff and artificial intelligence services learned with differentiated medical big data, AIDOT can soon establish itself as the number one service that can only be
recognized around the world."
Meanwhile, AIDOT announced that it plans to target the global aged care market by adding 'NAO DETECTION AI', an artificial intelligence carotid artery ultrasound solution currently
under clinical verification, through its business line for global expansion, including China.
